Mimosas in bloom - in January reminded me of
how much flowers are part of the art world.
The tiniest white cow bell couldn't give a
hoot about being painted, and yet flowers carry
meanings - created by people, who also gave them
names.
Just think of the orchids and how much money
is put into selling them. Stunningly.
I photograph flowers = not knowing their names
just appreciating their appearance.
